I was invited by the City of Boston to take part in PaintBox, a program that allows artists to design and paint local electrical boxes.  Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s Office of Arts, Tourism, and Special Events and the Boston Art Commission organized the program.  I nearly froze to death completing these two PaintBoxes.  The bamboo design uses Chinese newspapers as leaves, and is located at the corner of Boylston and Washington Street in Chinatown.  The winter tree design can be found at the corner of Kneeland and Surface Road in Chinatown.
